For the UK Government sector, Portcullis is an accredited IT security health check (CHECK scheme) service provider. Our security personnel include a dedicated team of government security cleared consultants who are authorised to deliver CHECK compliant testing services.CHECK is a gold standard for government. As CHECK Team Members and Team Leaders our security consultants have been rigorously tested and measured against the high standards set by CESG. Portcullis was a founder member of the CHECK scheme and has always maintained their highest "GREEN" level of accreditation.

The Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers (CREST) is an industry led organisation which was set up in response to the need to regulate professional security testers and the companies they work for, within the UK marketplace. The CREST qualification offers a demonstrable level of assurance as to the competence of both the companies and the individuals whom it approves.
